A Suwannee County man who blamed a head injury for affecting his judgement was sentenced to three years of probation in a cattle rustling case.
Barney Wainwright III, 22, was also ordered to pay for the cost of the cattle he was found guilty of taking from a family he knew in April, 2009.
Third Judicial Circuit Court Judge Paul Bryan adjudicated Wainwright guilty despite Wainwright's claims that his actions were the result of a head injury he suffered during a 2008 motorcycle wreck.
